This course will run concurrently with the particular UN Human Rights Council in Geneva, with the goal of providing participants with in-depth knowledge of human rights and therefore the functioning of the UN's key body to market them.

This program aims to boost participants' knowledge and skills within the areas of human rights and world affairs, in accordance with UNITAR's mandate. this can enable them to require on leadership roles in their respective environments and, as a result, still promote human rights round the world.

UNITAR also intends to strengthen participants' belief in the principles enshrined in the UN Charter, particularly human rights. Finally, it aspires to provide its participants with valuable insights into potential employment opportunities within the United Nations system.

Qualification Requirements for the UNITAR Human Rights Council Training Program

1. UNITAR welcomes participants from a wide range of professional backgrounds and levels of experience. As a result, the Human Rights Council Training Program is open to all international actors with a genuine interest in human rights.
2. Participants may include representatives from the public and private sectors, as well as NGOs, think tanks, and academia. Students from both universities and high schools are encouraged to apply.

Registration will be closed after 50 participants to ensure the highest quality standards. First-come, first-served basis will be used to assign slots. All participants will receive an official UNITAR certificate at the end of the program.
