 International Scholarships at the University of Oslo for the academic year 2021-2022 (Norway)

This scholarship is awarded annually, and the University of Oslo will soon open the application window for International Summer School (ISS) Norway Scholarships, which are aimed at international students who have excelled academically.

Scholarships are available for students interested in pursuing Bachelor's and Master's degrees. We will only be offering ISS scholarships for Norwegian language summer courses this year (NORA). There are also scholarships available for other foreign citizens.

Qualification Requirements for International Scholarships

1. Citizens of Africa, Asia, Oceania, Central America, and South America are eligible to apply for full or partial scholarships for Master's degree programs.
2. Candidates must demonstrate that their academic and professional backgrounds correspond to the course for which they are applying. A person with an engineering degree, for example, will not be considered for a course in human rights or peace studies.
3. Applicants enrolled at one of UiO's partner institutions in Central and South America may also apply for full and partial Master's scholarships.
