Transylvania University International Merit Scholarships: Transylvania University is pleased to offer its International Merit-based Scholarship to international students who have demonstrated academic excellence. This scholarship is available to undergraduate students interested in pursuing a degree at the University.

International students admitted to Transylvania will be awarded merit-based scholarships in the amounts listed below. Transylvania University's financial aid program is open to applicants.

The Purpose and Benefits of the Transy Undergraduate Scholarship

Interested applicants for the Transylvania University International Merit Scholarships in the United States of America 2021 will be awarded the following:

$20,000 for Global Superior

$18,000 for Global Excellence

$15,000 for Global Prestige

Transy Undergraduate Scholarship Qualification Requirements

Interested applicants must meet the following eligibility requirements for Transylvania University International Merit Scholarships in the United States of America in 2021:

1. International students must apply.
2. Be a first-year international student at a participating college or university in any major. (International applicants are individuals who have citizenship in a country other than the United States but do not also have U.S. citizenship or permanent residency.)
3. Show an interest in and initiative toward promoting intercultural learning and exchange.
4. At Transylvania, you must meet the admissions criteria and adhere to the deadlines.

Application Requirements Documents

The following documents are required of applicants:

1. Official Secondary School Transcript 
2. Official TOEFL, IELTS, PTE Academic, ACT, and/or SAT Scores 
3. Admissions Essay

Students who do not speak English as their first language or who are not from English-speaking countries must submit one of the following documents as proof of English proficiency.
